remote access

4 replies 3 views Edited May 27, 2010

I'm assuming no, but..  I'd like to be able to access my PS3 from my PC.  Not to play games via the PC, but to access the PS3 screens themselves, such as reading and composing messages, checking online friends, viewing and adjusting the PS3 ystem settngs etc...

If this is possible, can someone direct me to the information?

The only remote access possible is through Remote Play, which is supported by the PSP and the Aino cell phone. Sony is releasing Vaios that will support this, one should go on sale soon, if not already. And Sony will probably try to restrict it to Vaios only, and new ones. Who knows yet, and who knows if anyone will figure out a way around it.

Just wait awhile. As soon as somebody breaks down the method these vaios use to do remote play it will be avalible out there somewhere for all pcs. Im assuming its just a program, somebody will make thier own, and hopefully actually release it.
