Ok just posted the problem a few minutes ago. I unplugged the camera / headphones / etc everything but the hdmi and the power cord. Pushed the disk eject button (nothing in there) a couple times. Then I decided to power it off and unplug the power cord.
When it came back on it loaded in safe mode and ran a check then it warned me improperly powering off could do different things including damaging it. Well i put the disk in and am back playing. Well see if this is temporary or not.
I am not saying to do what I did.. I tried it cause I was **bleep** and its working right now.
One thing you might try is pressing the eject button with the system powered down then inserting a disk. I will try that if it happens again instead of unplugging...
I was playing Battlefield 4 and the console ejected the disc. After that, the console makes a weird grinding kinda noise and I couldn't play my games. I shared a video on YouTube with my problem.
I have had this ejecting disk problem the whole time i have had it, Then it trying to eject a disk while nothing is in it..... I started to notice something everytime it tried ejecting my disk or ejecting nothing. Whenever my desk (The one the ps4 is on) shakes then it tries to eject a disk like i hit the eject button. My ps4 is even off and if i bump my desk or shake it, it starts to try to eject even though a disk isnt even inside. Just something interesting have found with the eject problem. (ALSO LOOK AT YOUR EJECT BUTTON, IT'S LOCATED ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CONSOLE, TRY RUBBING YOUR HAND RIGHT BELOW THE EJECT BUTTON, ON THE BOTTOM SIDE.)
