Edited long after I made this thread:
I usually win against Isaac as Raiden, but Zeus gives me more trouble. Here's why adding them was a mistake. Isaac is the most most glitched character in the game, and Zeus might as well be a glitch himself with that extremely, EXTREMELY OP dodge. All Isaac offers is another generic gun character who is suddenly given the best mine in the game (no debate). Zeus, in terms of fighting style, is a good add. We don't have many fiist characters, plus he has magic (basically), but he is a very linear character, otherwise known as boring. This predicatble moveset of Zeus gave the creators some more incentive (besides the fact that he is ZEUS) to make a lot of his attacks impposible to interrupt or block, which is just plain OP given that he already has this ridiculous dodge. Now, we can argue all day that "these problems can be fixed" and "it's not that bad" or "I love this characters", but do these falsified pros and the actual cons really outweigh the fact that no one gave a rat's **bleep** about Zeus, who is a double dip, and Isaac who is another third-party? In the end, that DLC was what no one wanted before it was announced. No one thinks of Zeus or Isaac when they think of Playstation. Frankly, no God of War fan cares about Zeus, we all like the fact we are Kratos and we get to beat him to a pulp and okay. Isaac is a main character unlike Zeus, but as said before, they could've added people like Cloud, Crash, Spyro, etc. I think anyone who thinks adding Zeus was a good idea is lying to themselves and anyone who thinks adding Isaac was a good idea is either lying to themselves or are huge fans of Dead Space.
PS: I mained Isaac for a bit, I've tried every character in the game, and Isaac was by far the easiest to use.
