Posted this in my introduction topic. Going to post the movesets I've done so far in twos for each topic. Hope you enjoy reading them
The hero foretold to prevent Alduin from devouring the world in the Elder Scrolls- The Dovahkiin!
Default- Iconic studded armor/iron helmet stuff, uses Steel weapons in his moves.- http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb201108311927
Alt 1- Dragon Bone armor and weaponry- http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pxhsCEmDtIU/TxcQ9jjMd6I/
Alt 2- Daedric armor and weaponry- http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/152
Alt 3- Nightingale armor and weapons- http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb201201021122
Dovahkin is an all around character, fighting enemies with a variety of weaponry, magic, and tools. Good at everything, best at nothing. The majority of his attacks do average damage, not doing too much or too little. Moves at an average speed, is about the same height as Emmet, maybe a bit shorter (Nords are tall fellows). Will hold whatever weapon he just used (with magic he will have his sword in one hand, the spell in the other) with the exception of down triangle.
Idle stance- The 'weapon drawn' stance for whatever weapon he's currently holding.
Idle animation- If Dovahkiin sits long enough he'll have a unique idle animation depending on what he's currently holding.
Running animation- The non sprinting running animation for whatever weapon he's currently using.
Block animation- Holds up his shield.
Dodge animation- Does the roll from the 'silent roll' Stealth perk.
Jump animation- Does an enhanced version of the Skyrim jump (as in, looks less awkward). Double jump is how he is in this- http://games.cz.imag3box.com/uploads/skyrim-dovahk
Crouch animation- His sneak stance.
Neutral- Nordic Slashes- 3 hits- Dovahkiin swings his sword three times, finishing with a backwards power attack (a quick swing downwards all the way to the ground) that tumbles enemies. Air version he instead uses dual swords, doing a three hit combo using a slash with each sword, finishing with with a scissor strike that knocks enemies back a bit. More or less is the speed of Good Cole's neutral square.
Side- Shield Bash- 1 hit- Dovahkiin does a shield bash, butt dropping enemies. Enemies that are in the air when hit will be knocked away a short distance. Can be charged for similar to Sir Dan's side square to gain damage and send enemies flying instead with a bit more range.. Good for setting up into a combo. Can also be used in place of the last hit of neutral square, though with the damage of uncharged, yet the knock away of charged. Air version flinches enemies when not charged.
Down- Two Handed Power Attack- 1 hit- Dovahkiin does a power attack with a war hammer, swinging the weapon downward in an arc and slamming it into the ground. If an enemy is hit in the arc, they're puled down to the slam. The slam sends enemies upwards a short distance. Good for starting short air combos. Air version The Dovahkiin plummets straight downwards while holding out the war hammer, carrying enemies hit down with him. At a short height has the same effect as on ground, at a great height sends enemies flying. Both versions have a bit of a start up time.
Up-Dual Sword Slice- 2 hits- Dovahkiin does a dual uppercutting slice with two swords. Slices upwards once flinching opponents, then follows up with a second uppercutting slash with the other sword that knocks opponents upwards. Can be used in place of the final hit of neutral square. Good for setting up aerial combos.
Neutral- Bow- Projectile- 1 shot per second firing rate- Dovahkiin pulls out his bow and fires an arrow. Only goes a short/medium distance on even ground, arcing and hitting the ground at this max distance. Doesn't flinch. Can be charged to gain damage and flinch enemies as well as making it into a medium/long distance (About Jak's Side Triangle length) projectile. Charging time takes a bit shorter than Kratos's bow. Charge cannot be held like Evil Cole's punch.
Side- Dagger Lunge- 1 hit- Dovahkiin tenses then lunges forwards with two daggers in a reverse grip at a short distance. Can be charged to have different effects- without charge he will lunge and do a scissor slice that flinches enemies. Can be used to start small combos and comes out rather quickly. Charged he will lunge and do a downward stab that crumples enemies and does more damage. Can be predictable, but if you get lucky you may get a kill confirm. Cannot hold charge. Air version he lunges downward at an angle, only has the uncharged effect.
Down- Poison Drop- Trap Placement- Dovahkiin tosses a vial of poison on the ground making a small pool of poison gas that sits for four seconds total. Enemies caught in this pool will slowly give AP to the Dovahkiin. Air version he will toss the vial straight to the ground. If this vial hits the opponent, they will be knocked down with the poison cloud.
Up- Crossbow- Projectile- Dovahkiin fires a shot from his crossbow upwards at an angle at a medium distance. Comes out quickly and the shot moves pretty fast, but has a decent recovery time due to having to reload the crossbow. Best used to finish an aerial combo upon landing, or to punish those who prefer to stay in the air. Can be punished easily if whiffed. Knocks enemies back with a good amount of velocity.
Neutral- Firebolt/Ice Spike/Lightning Bolt- Projectile- Dovahkiin casts out a destruction spell that travels a short/medium distance and flinches enemies. Isn't very powerful, but is good as an annoyance move. Moves somewhat quickly. Can be held to make the attack somewhat stronger and move faster, and can move while holding it though you will move slower. Can appear as any of the three elements. They don't have any special traits and it's just for aesthetics.
Side- Paralyze- 1 hit- Dovahkiin casts Paralyze as a touch spell (I know they took these out in Skyrim, but I felt I was making him a bit too ranged oriented), pushing out his hand like a palm strike. If this hits an enemy they will fall to the ground in whatever pose they were in, but can still be hit. If hit in this state they will instantly be put in hard knockdown. Only are paralyzed for second, but if timed right (and I mean REALLY well) can be kill confirmed. Has a bit of a start up in which he seems to charge the spell.
Down- Healing- AP Generator- Dovahkiin uses the 'Healing' spell, slowly building AP. Has a bit of recovery time for him to stop using the spell. Must keep holding O to continue healing. Every 20 AP he will take a short pause.
Up- Stoneflesh- Buff- Dovahkiin casts stone flesh, making the next three attacks used against him gain half AP. Is a charge based ability to activate, and takes about four seconds to charge. Can be hard to get out, but if you manage to it can be a strong tool for preventing an opponent's AP burst.
Side- Dovahkiin hits them with a side power attack with his war hammer, sending them flying.
Down- Dovahkiin does one of the stealthed Dagger finishers on the enemy dropping them to the ground. Flattens.
Up- Dovahkiin uses Telekinesis then dual casts Sparks (imagine Emperor Palpatine lightning but weaker) shocking enemies and making them drop AP.
Level 1- Unrelenting Force- The ever famous Fus Ro Dah. Fires a shockwave in front of him after a short pause that sends enemies flying which kills them. Has the unique ability that it can be charged via three different ways, signifying which it is via saying FUS, RO, and DAH. Fus is the fastest, but only hits directly in front of him and will do a 'butt drop' animation on the enemy before they die. RO will gain double the range and give enemies a 'knockback' animation before killing them and comes out slower due to having to wait. DAH makes it gain the range of Ratchet's level 1, and sends enemies flying, making them kill any enemies they hit before dying similar to Cole's level 1 toss. It's up to you to decide between hitting them with a quick strike, or have a slow and predictable yet powerful roar that will kill multiple enemies.
Level 2- Dragonrend- Dovahkiin looks to the sky and uses the shout, tearing a dragon from the sky and making it plummet down in a straight vertical line to where he is standing. Once it lands the Dovahkiin kills it with a stab and quickly devours it's soul. Any enemies hit on it's plummet or it's death animation will be killed. (it's basically Emmet's but right on top of him with a wider hitbox for the drop, but a smaller 'explosion').
Level 3- Dragon Aspect and Marked for Death- Dovahkiin uses the new Dragon Aspect shout, surrounding him in an aura, and Marked For Death on his foes. Dovahkiin can then run around the stage using different shouts to finish off foes-
Square becomes Elemental Fury imbued Dual Sword attacks with a good forward momentum, Triangle becomes Whirlwind Sprint while holding out his shield making him kill anyone he charges into, and Circle becomes Fire Breath making him shout slow moving bursts of Fire that can be aimed (no hold to fire in front of him, up to fire upwards at an angle, and down to fire downwards at an angle)
Lvl 3 Theme- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQW3JHQpohA
Throw Voice- He uses Throw Voice shout making a random insult (Cheese Brain, Skeever Butt).
Cheese!- Sheogorath appears and yells one of his famous lines.
Nordic Pride- Faces the screen and roars at the sky.
The Dragonborn Comes- Dovahkiin walks up to the screen with his sword in it's sheath, then draws it and takes a fighting stance.
Alduin's Bane- The Whirlwind Sprint shout is heard and Dovahkiin appears almost out of nowhere, steadying himself from the shout before raising his blade at the screen.
Way of the Voice- The area is covered in thick mist which is shouted away by the Dovahkiin by using the Clear Skies shout who then takes a fighting stance.
Hero of Skyrim- Dovahkiin is looking down with only his sword out pointed to the ground, then slowly looks up towards the screen.
Season Unending- Dovahkiin hears a dragon roar and runs off to the side of the screen in pursuit.
Companion- Dovahkiin rests his war hammer on his shoulder while smirking
Bend Will- Dovahkiin mounts a dragon he has control of, which then flies off.
Dragonborn- The effect for devouring a dragon soul passes through Dovahkiin as he takes a triumphant pose.
- Dovahkiin is holding his leg with an arrow in his knee.
- Dovahkiin is on one knee supporting himself with the war hammer.
-The dragon has Dovahkiin in his mouth and is swinging him around.
- Dovahkiin is collapsed to the ground struggling to get up as Miraak stands behind him.
Kill, killed, and item pick up quotes-
All just different grunts and yells.
*Starts with a render of Dovahkiin stepping into Sky Haven Temple before changing to a shot of him walking up to Esbern.* *Esbern turns to him*
"Aaah Dragonborn there you are. I take it you received my message?"
*pans to a shot of Esbern holding up a scroll*
"While you were gone we have been gathering information to aid you...."
*changes to a shot of them now standing in front of his desk as he unfurls the scroll*
"And we may have found something!"
*Esbern now has the map open*
"There has been rumor of a gathering of warriors of all kinds... Here."
*Esbern points to a location on the map*
"They say that a being of great power is behind this gathering.... We believe that it is one of Alduin's minions."
*pans to a shot of Esbern turning to the Dovahkiin as he's walking out*
"Go Dragonborn! Discover what this being is- And if it is a threat deal with it quickly. We await your return!"
Rivaled with Wander-
*Dovahkiin is running through Polygon Man's realm after a large, purple, crystalline (hint hint) dragon. He runs up a set of polygonal pillars like a set of stairs and is about to leap off them onto it's back when an arrow suddenly flies out of nowhere nearly hitting him. This causes him to become startled and fall to the ground. He gets up groaning as Wander walks up holding out his sword*
*Wander in his language*
"Stop pursuing the colossus! I cannot allow you to kill it, I must be the one to do so! I musts save her!"
*Dovahkiin gets up and brushes aside the sword, having not understood Wander then looks towards where the 'dragon' was flying and begins walking. Wander becomes enraged and lunges at him swinging his blade*
"I warned you!"
*Dovahkiing suddenly turns and blocks the blow as they both take fighting stances*
"I have no other choice!"
*Dovahkiin walks into Sky Haven Temple and Esbern turns towards him having heard his footsteps*
"Ah Dragonborn, what have you discovered?"
*Turns to a shot of Dovahkiin tossing him a shard from Polygon Man's realm, then pans to a view of Esbern catching it.*
"Hmm... It seems to be a simple crystal... Yet I feel a great magical power within it simply from touching it."
*Goes to a shot of both of them looking over the crystal*
"You say that the land you visited was made up of this? Interesting... Is there anything else you saw or found that may aid us?"
*Pans to a close up shot of Dovahkiin as AP begins swirling around him*
The man who slayed sixteen Colossi to save a maiden- Wander!
Wander- Shadow of the Colossus
Default- His appearance at the start of SotC- http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/scale_small/0/
Alt 1- Shaman'sCloak and Mask- http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb201207160135
Alt 2- Fully corrupted Wander- http://mmoattack.com/uploads/Wander-Corrupted.jpg
Alt 3- Ico's clothing and horns- http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/kotaku
Wander is a bit of an all around fighter, however due to not being a competent swordsman he is a far better archer, yet can still hold his own in melee combat. Is around Kratos's height (when he's hunched over in his idle stance) though a bit shorter, moves about an average speed. Holds whatever weapon he most recently used (sword, bow, or harpoon.)
Idle stance- Wander is in his SotC idle stance.
Idle animation- Wander admires his sword.
Running animation- Does his running animation from SotC.
Block animation- Holds up his sword (yet in a stance that wouldn't block very well realistically).
Dodge animation- Does his roll from SotC.
Jump animation- Does his basic jump. Double jump is a similar jump animation.
Crouch animation- Does his crouch form SotC.
Neutral- Double Slash- 2 hit, 1 hit in air- Wander swings vertically downwards with his sword, then does a second vertical downwards slash (both the same movement, second strike uses two hands. Has a bit of forward momentum. First hit flinches, second puts enemies in a hard knockdown. Air version he does a single vertical swipe downwards that knocks enemies straight down. Can leave him a bit open due to not having a good form.
Side- Lunging Stab- 1 hit, 2 hit in air- Wander lunges forward a short distance in a stabbing motion with his sword held in a reverse grip. If he hits an opponent he will stab downward on them and butt drop them. Hitting an enemy in the air will make them fall down in a hard knockdown. Has a bit of a start up but can start short combos. Air version he lunges forward, but if he hits an opponent it becomes a combat grapple style attack where he stabs them then pushes them down with his legs, sending them straight to the ground.
Down- Shadow Stab- 1 hit- Wander crouches on the ground and raises his sword, then stabs it into the ground making a small spray of shadows spew out that flinches enemies. Can charge the move to become stronger, going through three stages. The second stage will be a slightly larger stream that will knock enemies up a bit can be used to get a few hits in. Third stage will be a small geyser of shadow that sends them upwards and can be used as a 'get away from me' move or get some hits in from the air. Is also wider than the second stage.
Up- Flashing Stab- 1 hit- Wander quickly stabs upwards, sending any enemies hit upwards. Has a good vertical reach for a melee attack, can be used as a counter for enemies attacking from above. Comes out quickly but has a bit of a recovery time. Animation for the upward stab is similar to his animation for raising his sword to make the beam of light in SotC.
Neutral- Bow- Projectile- Wander fires a shot from his bow at a medium range. Can be to aim similar to Ratchet's Sniper Rifle but holding it does not build a charge to make it stronger. Only flinches enemies, best used as an annoyance move. Not very strong, not too long of a recovery, has a short start up in which he draws the string. Is a relatively safe move, but has a somewhat slow firing rate overall.
Side- Whistling Arrows- Projectile- Wander fires a whistling arrow. If this hits an opponent their controls will become reversed for a few seconds. The distance is determined by a charge. Holding triangle will make Wander pull the string back further. Without charge goes a short distance, at max charge will send it a medium/long distance. Doesn't come out too quick even without charge. Can be used to mess with enemies.
Down- Harpoon of Thunder- Projectile- Wander tosses the Harpoon of Thunder forwards at a short/medium range. Is a strong move, sending enemies flying if hit, however it has a decently large start up and recovery move. Not very safe but if you can land it it's worth it. Air version tosses it downwards at an angle. Is weaker than ground version.
Up- Flash Arrows- Projectile- Wander fires a flash arrow upwards at an angle. Goes a short/medium range. If it hits an opponent, it will explode sending them flying. If it misses it will arc and fall to the ground, exploding when it impacts it. Has a bit of a start up.
Neutral- Blade to the Light- Debuff- Wander holds up his blade making a beam appear that goes a medium range. Can be aimed by holding O and using the analog stick. If you hold this on an enemy for three seconds a glyph will suddenly appear on them, making Wander's next attack against them gain double the AP. Dodging or blocking will not reset the timer and will still actually effect it if the beam is in the area they are, but if they get out of the beam for at least a second the timer will reset. Beam will automatically stop after five seconds. The glyph will vanish after five seconds
Side- Lunging Roll- Combat Grapple- Wander does a lunge forwards a short distance. If he hits an opponent he tackles them to the ground then hits them with the hilt of his sword. Hard knockdwn. If he misses he will go into a roll ending with a sliding stop. Comes out quick enough that it can be used to punish attacks, but can be punished easily itself if it misses, but missing can also be used for a bit of maneuverability. Air version he uses a hawk to hang glide a short distance forwards quickly. Doesn't last very long before dropping him. Good for getting around the stage.
Down- Cloak of Deception- Counter- Wander uses the Cloak of Deception as a counter. When you hit down O, he will put it on, appearing as an incredibly obvious shimmer for a second. If an enemy hits this shimmer, Wander will suddenly uncloak behind them and stab them, crumpling them. Will only work against melee attacks. Good to against button mashers. Has a long enough recovery to be punishable.
Up- Prayer Shrine- Teleport- Wander prays and a pillar of light will remain where he prayed. If pressed again he'll seem to vanish and reappear there as if he'd been sleeping sitting up against the then quickly get up. Has a bit of recovery for his 'getting up'. Air version will make the pillar of light on the ground below him. Using the 'return' in the air will make him appear same as the ground version. The pillar of light looks similar to the light that surrounds the Prayer Altar's in SotC, but are a more visible. The pillar of light will manually vanish after a set amount of time (but is a very large amount of time in comparison to most things with life spans.)
Side- Wander stabs the opponent in the stomach, then kicks them sending them tumbling.
Down- Wander stabs downwards onto the opponent once crumpling them, then stabs them again. Hard knockdown.
Up-Wander runs and slides under the enemy and fires a flash arrow at the enemy as he goes under them, which carries them up a bit then explodes, sending them flying upwards.
Level 1- The Ancient Sword- Wander pulls back the blade which begins to turn blue, then stabs forwards a short distance. If he hits an enemy with this, he follows up by doing a spin to gain leverage and then does a heavy horizontal slash that kills anyone hit.
Level 2- Agro- Agro appears and Wander hops on her back. You can then control Agro similarly to Fat Princess's level 2. However Agro only has one jump, though it is high, so you must judge how long you have to press the button.
Level 3- Shadow of the Colossus- Wander cringes and falls to the ground as shadowy tendrils fly into him, causing him to collapse to the ground. A shadow covers his body and he begins to grow in size as the horned spirit Dormin. As Dormin you can move at about the same speed as Sweet Bot. His attacks consist of-
Neutral, side, up - Fist Slam- Dormin raises his arm and slams down his fist in an arc, anyone that hits his arm is killed. (It's best to air dodge it)
Down- Stomp- Dormin stomps, making a shock wave in both directions at his feet.
Triangle- Colossi's Breath- Dormin leans down and breathes a fire-like ice substance (quoting the wiki) in front of him going across the entire floor in front of him. (stops if it hits a wall) Deadly if you don't jump over it.
Circle- Charge- Dormin bull rushes forward, killing anyone unlucky enough to get caught in his path. Can be deadly but has a long recovery time.
Agro!- Wander yells for Agro or whistles.
A prayer for you.- Wander speaks in his language and kneels in prayer for the enemy.
Away!- Wander points his blade forward as he did to banish the shadows in the intro
Heroes ride on- Wander rides up on Agro then hops off and looks around.
A rude awakening- Wander wakes up as he does after slaying each Colossus and looks around with his sword raised.
Fall from grace- Wander falls from the top of the screen, sprawled on the floor then kneels and shakes himself off sighing. (If it's not obvious he fell off of a Colossus he was fighting.)
Purest motives....- Wander steps forward with the 16 shadows sinking into the ground behind him, and takes a heroic, yet ominous stance.
Into the sunset- Agro steps up and Wander hops on her before riding off screen.
Thy next foe...- Wander looks up as a bright light shines from above and Dormin's voice is heard. Wander nods and runs off.
Never gives up- Wander is startled as the screen suddenly shakes, causing him to run toward a great shadow that appears off the right side off the screen. (in the shape of the first Colossus).
Darkest deeds....- Shadowy tendrils surround Wander and fly into him, causing him to float for a second before passing out.
Wander is unconscious as Agro limps up to him.
Wander struggles to stand and holds onto his arm as he did in the game when he was low on health.
Wander's sprawled on the floor still holding onto his sword.
Wander is unconscious as shadow begins to cover his body.
Kill, killed, and item quotes-
Random jibberish in his made up language that won't be translated.
*Shows a scene of Wander passed out on the floor in the Shrine of Worship. It zooms in as he awakens then takes a view that's facing up as he looks up and Dormin's light shines from above*
*Goes to a close up of the light*
"Thy next foe is.... In a realm of shattered dreams.... It stands proud and arrogant against time.... Gathering warriors from many lands."
*goes to a scene of Wander walking out of the Shrine of Woship. Cuts to a scene of him riding Agro across the plains*
Rivaled with Dovahkiin-
*Wander is riding Agro through Polygon Man's realm when he gains view of a flying crystal looking colossus (hint hint) flying overhead along with Dovahkiin pursuing it on foot. He quickly rides up just as Dovahkiin is about to leap onto it's back. He panics and fires an arrow that makes Dovahkiin fall to the ground. He steps up with his blade raised as Dovahkiin sits up*
*Wander in his language*
"Stop pursuing the colossus! I cannot allow you to kill it, I must be the one to do so! I musts save her!"
*Dovahkiin gets up and brushes aside the sword, having not understood Wander then looks towards where the 'colossus' was flying and begins walking. Wander becomes enraged and lunges at him swinging his blade*
"I warned you!"
*Dovahkiin suddenly turns and blocks the blow as they both take fighting stances*
"I have no other choice!"
(Basically the same scene as Dovahkiin's, but with the intro having Wander's point of view instead.)
*A scene of Wander waking up in the Shrine of Worship is seen and Dormin's light glows*
"Thou return triumphant.... But thou must hurry on thy quest, time runs short."
"I will finish it... I must save her. I have gained something that will aid me. "
*Zooms out to a scene of Wander glowing with AP*
"What is my next foe spirit?"
Those are awesome! I especially liked the Wander one, and the rivalries were great
Looking forward to see the other ones
Thanks I have 24 of htem in total. Up next after these six I have done I'm working on Sub-Zero and Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
The Cloak and Deception, the different arrows, and the harpoon were unlockables you could get from doing the Time Attack modes for Normal and Hard modes after beating each mode. They had different unlockables including those I included in the moveset, and a few I left out like the Cloak of Desparation (A parachute). The Shaman stuff from the one costume were also unlockables.
And looking forward to seeing the moveset I love reading other peoples ideas for movesets.
Aaand just realized the link to Wander's level 3 is dead. Better find a new link.
Well as I said I'm looking forward to seeing it. The basing it off Colossus abilities sounds interesting.
Giving one final bump for this. Same as I said in the Raziel and Death topic I might try and pretty these up by flat out adding pictures instead of links since I'd made them in Gamefaqs which didn't allow that. Gonna hopefully get around to posting Sergeant Cortez and Link soon, been feeling lazy with not wanting to post them and trying to improve Cortez's arcade ending. Hope you folks enjoyed reading these
