If there's nothing you can do about the mines pick a character that gives you more options. Not every character match up is even. There're plenty of pairs that are clearly one sided. Dante's primarily close range so the mine hugging tactic is going to be effective against him. If you refuse to switch characters it's your own prerogative to develop a technique for dealing with every situation, not the developers'.

Isaac has way more than emmet.... All I need to talk about is his Gun loop let alone his amazing ability to control space with extreme area denial and efficient projectiles. He really messes up a lot of the cast... but he does has REALLY bad matchups

You know what mines tick me off? Killzone 3 proximity mines, if Radec had one of those, I wouldve sold this game...

Are you kidding me? Are we SUPPOSE to predict who WE'RE going to fight? Do you not notice that the match-ups are completely random and surprising? Even if I decided to stick to a character like radec or sackboy I'll just run into other worst match-ups. The problem is isaac or at the very least isaac players. All they do is camp the mine and shoot the gun from a corner. All we're asking is to make the mines destroyable so the players can't spam it.

Certain characters that can get past his zoning wall real easily. Hiehiachi hard counters him. Ratchet is good against him. Kratos can do a number on him with a few good plays. and raiden is meh... raiden is prolly isaacs best top tier matchup but raiden can always get a few throws in spelling the doom for isaac. Sly cooper is another one.

I have to agree with this. Trap characters have a massive advantage over the rest of the cast. Good isaacs drive me insane now.

 

They just go and camp in the corner where u cant hit them, cant throw them.... urg
