No. For all games, you receive a Platinum trophy when you've acquired all of the trophies that were included with the game at release. Any trophies added through DLC simply add to your percentage completion of the game
Yep. I have 47% of the Burnout Paradise trophies, but I still have my Platinum for it.
Mmmm it makes me wonder if the the trophy set for Fearless is out that mean we might need to pay for it. Correct me if I'm wrong but the character pack is call Overtime right?
We do have to pay for it. They stated here that the Fearless stage is separate from the "Overtime" pack which includes Kat and Emmett for free for the first two weeks. Fearless will be added in via patch for free for Ranked matches only and then will be available for purchase for anyone who wants to play it locally or on Quick Matches. We're not even sure yet if Fearless will be available on the same day as Kat and Emmett (Feb. 12)
That doesn't apply to a lot of games. To get the trophies, you need the content associated with the trophies.
An example of this is LittleBigPlanet. You can also play a dlc level with your friend. But you don't get the trophies because you don't have it bought. Payday:the heist is another example.
