PS Vita question

Ok so I just got a vita and I will be playing this on it from now to get used to it but my questions is can I get online while I'm outside? Somewhere where there is not Internet connectivity?

Lol what kind of question is that, of course not, you can't connect to facebook on your laptop if there is no internet connectivity

Re: PS Vita question

It depends on what kind of Vita you have. A Vita with 3G capabilities can access the internet with no Wi-Fi networks, yes.

However, if you do not have a Vita with 3G capabilities (cleverly marketed as the "Vita 3G + WiFi"), you won't be able to.

[ Edited ]

because there's a difference between a cellphone and a wi-fi based device

and yes, I forgot about the 3G version of the vita, that is basically the same as a cellphone lol

Re: PS Vita question

3G - mobile network.

If you're Vita is the 3G model and you're on a service, you can access the internet outside of you're wi-fi connection, although it's only limited to Internet browsing, so you can't play games online regardless.
