I decided to pick up Radec today after being inspired by a really excellent player I faced a few weeks ago who knew all these different moves and combos with him. I must say, I'm thinking of adding him to my alts, because he has a lot of different tactics that I rarely see players take advantage of besides his sniper rifle.
The first thing I noticed about him was how good his aerial game actually is. My favorite move to use with him is his aerial double kick, which you can follow up with his aerial Forward Square if you time it right. I also love how his Forward Square and Up Triangle can blast players away in the air really quickly in the same fashion as Sweet Tooth's shotgun. And then there's the up-throw-into-Up-Triangle combo, and his Up Circle alone has a ton of combo possibilities.
All those moves may not gain as much AP as simply using the sniper rifle over and over, but I found them a ton more fun to use. Some people say that Radec might drop in popularity when Emmett arrives, but I still think he has a lot of merit.
TL;DR, he's pretty Radec-al.
