Now that the game has been out for almost a week, I just realized something. During the beta, I jokingly referred to the game as Sony Smash Bros with my friends whenever we talked about it because the title is long and stupid. Now we just call it Sony Smash Bros without a second thought. Are we really meant to say the whole **bleep** title, or PAS-BER for short?? How do you guys say it?
Do you think I say "metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots tactical espionage action" every time I want to mention the game? Or "Uncharted 3: Drake's deception" c'mon now.
I refer to it as All Stars. I consider the "Battle Royale" part to be the tag-line (for lack of a better term), similar to "Melee" or "Brawl" to the SSB series. I'd imagine if (when, hopefully) they made a sequel they will have a different tag line. I wouldn't care for a "2" to just be tagged on.
edit: I consider the "PlayStation" cumbersome to say since my friends know I'm talking about PlayStation since that is what I have. I suppose I could see myself calling it PS All Stars or even PlayStation All Stars though.
