The Sequel Needs A Combo Break System

25 replies 386 views Edited Jan 14, 2013
It's the only way I see the Level 1 set ups being dealt with. It could also add a new layer of depth to gameplay. If you don't know what a combo break is its when you are able to stop someone in the middle of being hit by a combo. Pretty much like Mortal Kombat.

Yeah, I'm all for this. Even if you are allowed to only use it once. Or maybe sacrifice a super bar for a break instead.

Nope, umvc3 doesn't, then neither does this game. It promotes guerilla style play and spam as opposed to decent game play. I'll take my combo and like it, tyvm

But games like Blazblue and Persona 4 Arena do and they are used to great effect. And no it does not promote that kind of play style.

In both of the games I listed you only get to use it once per match after that if you're locked in a combo thats it, to bad.

The sequel could have it set up similarly or like I said use a super bar to use a combo break.
