Where are Toro's stances and costumes from?

15 replies 543 views Edited Apr 12, 2013

Yo guys, I just had a quick question concerning Toro's different stances and costumes within the game. I was wondering if they are related to his being a mascot in Japan (doesn't he have his own specific game(s) or tv show? Maybe it was a video game that played like a tv show... anyway) or are his various stances/costumes taken from different Playstation games (like how his default costume looks like the costume he wears in Street Fighter X Tekken). I've been curious about that ever since he's been in PSASBR. Thanks for the answer.

I think his 3rd one is from his anime or something, I'm pretty sure I heard somebody talking about that's where its from but I could be wrong.

Justice stance is most likely based off his Street Fighter X Tekken outfit.

Ninja and Oni are from his games.

The Torobi stance looks cooler with the Katana strapped to his back.

I reckoned most of, if not all, his alts were from his anime/games from Japan.

The moves for the stances are baced of of major fighting games;

Justice: Tekken

Torobi: Mortal combat

(that neutral mostly. "get over here")

Oni: Street fighter

(That neutral looks way to much like a haduken.)

I love how you ignore the rest of the post. :smileylol:

But i guess you could be right. (Even though the games his moves are referencing should be common knowledge by now. Lol)
