That's not a conspiracy... That's a theory.

that would be a straight kick to the groin of Sony
its kinda their fault though, they didn't support the game as much as they should have.

Yay, Xbox All-Stars: Battle Royale featuring/starring Master Chief and Marcus Fenix... and 8 more Master Chiefs and Marcus Fenix's COG buddies

Jokes aside, an Xbox All-Stars game could work. There are plenty of characters that Microsoft actually owns besides Halo and Gears. (Blinx, Banjo & kazooie, Conker, Avatars, and Allen Wake to name a few.)

However, i doubt Superbot will do that. I think they'll go on to make traditional fighters or something.

If they survive, I agree. Sony Smash Bros didn't fare well, so they might as well take their fighting game roots back to where it belongs - traditional fighters, and leave the 4-player brawler king to reign over his subordinates

I hope another dev takes a shot at the IP in the future. Theres a lot of untapped potential there, and SuperBot has already laid out the groundwork should they want to carry on where they left off.

Santa Monica has it now, I have a feeling Sony couldn't take the humiliation of dropping the franchise. Losing to Nintendo would just be rough.

I have a feeling Santa Monica just finally gets do doing what SuperBot was not.

How exactly would losing to Nintendo be a rough hit to Sony? If I'm not mistaken, Nintendo completely humiliated Sony TWICE in the multimillion dollar handheld gaming department
