I used to do Kudos similar to facebook "likes". If something mad me laugh I'd give one. I still do that but not as much. Now I have to fall out of my chair laughing to give one. I still give them for correct answers but now usually only if the person posting the question didn't give one. If it's a question that's been asked and answered repeatedly I don't give them any more.

i rarely give them out, and when i do the post has to deserve it. i never give them out for funny posts though, only posts i find helpful or insightful and stuff like that.
although last week i gave out like 18 in the pet thread just because there were too many cute dogs and cats. 
ive given 130 kudos to 101 people.
if youve gotten a kudos from me then you better feel special.

That Thread was a nightmare lol, I could have ran out of my kudos limit 3 times over .
They should make a rank depending formula for it.
For example: (Rank# ^2)+5
Like this it wold be:
Cannon fodder: 6/day
Monster Hunter: 9/day
Triangle III: 14/day
Lombax Warrior: 21/day
Grease Monkey: 30/day
Sackboy: 41/day
Wastelander: 51/day
I Only Post Everything 69/day
Uncharted Territory: 86/day
Gaming beast: 105/day

Wow, I'm not sure even on my most generous of days i could give out 329 Kudos lol .
I actually like the idea though Heilke, there's some sense to what you say, although I think the amount of Kudos would have to be lowered somewhat, but I like it.
