As you may already know, the PlayStation® Community Forum is migrating to a different provider as of June 30th, 2012. You can find out more details about this here:

What does this mean for you? Well... a few things:

Things to be aware of:

Forum migrations can be tricky. If you are very attached to some content you may want to save it.

Please be aware that Private Messages, Avatars and Macros will not be migrated.

The best way to back up your valuable information would be to either:

  • Take a screen capture by pressing "Ctrl + Print Screen" while on the screen you would like to save. Open image editing software (like Paint). Press "Ctrl + V" OR click on the "Edit" tab and then "Paste". The screen shot will then pop up. From there, all you have to do is Save the image.
  • Copy/Paste into a Document File. Highlight the sections you would like to save, right-click on the highlighted portion and click copy. Right click on the document and paste.

If you require any more information on how to Cut, Copy and Paste - check out this Wikipedia page

The good news is that there are some things that you won't have to worry about backing up! Your Tomes, Signature, and Post Count will all be safe once the migration is over.

We're looking forward to seeing you on the other side!
