Its very ugly IMO and we dont even get the blue upgrades full users get to see.
Before the transition mobile theme was allowed to be dark grey.
Is there a way to bring back the grey? Or any dark?
White is brutal on my eyes really and lots of user fonts clash with it. I've had over 15 users discuss it and echo my sentiments so please Tempest or someone can we abandon compulsory white background in mobile view? Thank you in advance

Do not expect them to...
Unlike the full desktop site which is customised per customer/client, The mobile template is customer wide with only there own logo and text colour on page changed...
There Mobile forums all match with there text colour choice... This is why lithium is used as they do most of the work not the company...
Thanks for the input though I just dont know how/where to request this. If its in the wrong forum I apologize.
You can request it. and you have put it in the right place for now.
The sites still going to be re-shuffled... again.. so topics will move..
But SCE has a sub contracted this forum to Lithium. they run and build forum sites, provide moderators with extra tools other forum software don't (according to admin staff at other forums) at a lower cost than a company would pay doing it all them selves (again according to other admin).
As posted above this forum has been brought in line with all the other mobile sites lithium run with the white back ground and template..
I take it you don't own an Ipad (edit : confirmed you don't.) As lithium took the step to remove the rich text editor from all mobile safari users...
This avoids the Flash uploading problem with pictures.. AKA you can't upload pictures as there is no flash in mobile safari.
So if white is so bad im sure Lithium would be under alot of pressure to change it after the large number of sites they run...
You can ask but be prepaired for it to be staying.....
Thanks for the feedback, a darker mobile skin (as an option) will be looked into by the web team soon.
