Quick Sig Question

8 replies 157 views Edited Sep 5, 2006
I'm not the best at this, and couldn't find anything in the NUG, so:

I want to try and line up the text I have near the bottom of my sig along the left side of the blue box. Does anyone know how/if I could do that? Thanks

I want it to look like this:
_______
!            ! Now Playing:
! BOX   ! Most Anticipated
!______!  etc.
Please use plain text.

<h6 align=right>YOUR TEXT</h6>

Put that after your code for your sig. It should work right, I hope..

Alright, I'll try Chadster's idea, and then, if that doesn't work, I'll type out the whole code I used

Chad: I copied and pasted that into my sig, then copied and pasted all the code into where it says "your text", but it said I wasn't allowed to use HTML. Is there another code you guys know about?

The only way I know to get it to work would be to use tables. Unfortunately, you guys aren't allowed to use tables in your signature.

Go ahead and post the code you tried to use before. Whatever it is, I'll look at it and try to help.

Hm.. it looks like it worked, but it doesn't bring the text up to the top, it just goes up to the bottom of the image.. (If it says you can't use 'Simple HTML' in your signature that means there's an error in the code).

We can't use tables? Ew.. Sorry JD, not sure what else to suggest if we can't use tables.

The thing is, before I didn't really try to use any code to make it work because I wasn't sure what code to use. This is what's in my signature section, though: "<img src="http://my.livecard.net/sblue/TheSolidSnake11.png"> <font color="blue">Now Playing: Oblivion, Live Arcade, FEAR demo</font><font color="red"> Looking forward to: Okami, FFXII, SC: DA(360) Gears of War</font><br>R.I.P Steve Irwin"

Yeah. That^ isn't going to work. You're not going to be able to format the signature like you want to. Sorry.

I suppose there are alternative ways to display it. Ie. Shrink the image and make it so you have room to type text underneath it.

No, that's alright. I was thinking of just changing the sig, anyways. Thanks for all the help, though
