Hey guys,

 

I've been getting what I think is a new error message today, well at least new to me, it started happening today only & also only when I have tried to Kudo a post, it happened just now in this Forum, which was what reminded me to ask about it, I'm used to, or at least I was used to seeing a 'Kudos Flooding message, could not give Kudos ete etc, but since the introduciton of the 50 Kudos limit hardly at all, but this error message says the following & it appears above the post I was trying to give Kudos to.

 

                                                              Sorry, unable to complete the action you requested.

 


Just so you know I'm using Windows 8 with Chrome.

I saw it once when trying to upload an image from my computer. Retried and it worked the 2nd time. Only time I ever saw the error.

Also on Windows 8 Chrome. :smileytongue:

Sorry to bump my own Thread but this error is still happening, it's only when I go to Kudo a post, & it's not the Kudos flooding message we're used to.

 

Any ideas guys?

I have received the same message at time.  Specifically within the last few days.  I know it has nothing to do with the KUDOS Flood, because I got that one a few hours later.

 

Might it not have something to do with the movement or Threads?  I know sometimes when I am attempting to reply, and the Thread gets moved in the interim, I lose the post.  I have to follow the link and repost.

 

Perhaps, the message is the effect the moves have on KUDOS disbursement.  Not sure though.

 

I have seen it though BRIT, and at least a few times.

I get this when I have a thread open in a tab and while its open the mods move it, i usually just go to where they moved it and then it lets me kudos.


I've had it happen other times too and when it does I usually just hit refresh and try again then it works.    I haven't had that one for a while though, at least a month.

Hey Brit,

 

Soooo from my understanging, you cannot kudos at all? You just recieve this error message? 

 

I need specifics for when I tell the support staff. :smileyhappy:
