I have the 8GB right now

Sadly it is not large enough to fit Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Hot Shots Golf World Invitational, Uncharted Golden Abyss AND Dissdia 012 Duodecim (so I got rid of Uncharted, it's on my PC for now)

Will probably upgrade to 16GB. But I don't plan on downloading a lot more. Just did this to get started and too lazy to drive to the store

So did you download all of those games from the PSN?

Well yeah.

I don't have a single physical Vita game atm (though the rest of them I plan to get physical unless they are only on digital).

Mainly because they didn't have any when I bought the Vita, so I just bought off PSN instead.

But like I said, they don't fit (though these are some of the larger games, so it makes sense).

Uncharted is about 3GB or something

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is 2.3GB

Hot Shots Golf was 1.2GB or so I believe

Dissidia Duocecim was about the same size as Hot Shots Golf

That's already 7.5GB and the 8GB only supports up to around 7.3 (With 10% for some use that i forgot).

I have a 32 GB and I way glad. It's expensive but way worth it. I would get a 16 GB besides that. 4 GB is nothing. You'll only start off with 3.2 GB.

my mistake was buying the 4GB and it was only enough to store 2 full psvita games i would go with a 16GB or 32GB even though there more expensive it will save you in the long run if you want to download multiple games and media

8gb should hold  you off for a long time if you go physical joystiq did an article on all of their games which was a lot, and it was only over 250mb of used storage. I have an 8 and have about 5,300mb left and the games I have on my vita are Unit 13 ( physical ) fifa demo which was over 1.3gb, and motorstorm rc, which is about 600mb, as you can see physical has it's own storage, I believe when it asked me to install unit 13 it only ask for 12mb lol.

Why is everyone saying 4 or 8 is not enough for many games, when the OP clearly says he will mostly buy the physical copies of games? and really only Download RC and AR games??

I got a 4gb and still have 2gb left, as you I do not download the games, I have phsyical copies so that they are MINE and I will always have them, *sell them, let friends borrow them etc* If your not going to be downloading movies, music and such 8GB in my opinion is just fine, then when the memory prices go down *they will* go and get a bigger one.

I have an 8 GB card and I'm worried that it soon won't be enough. I'm waiting until they come out with a card that's more than 32 GB so I can be sure that I never have to buy another one again. Plus they'll probably be cheaper by then.

Since your buying your games physicly 4gb is enough as most games only require tops 8mb for saves. Apps are tops 20mb a piece, demos range from 500mb to 3.5gb. Also Motorstorm RC is free and is 680mb ish in size. 4gb will be enough but for $10 more get a 8gb if you can, think about your photos music and videos. Things come up might as well be safe.

Yeah that is what I am going to do. 8GB is enough for me at the moment.  It is only a small bit more and if something comes up on tthe store (download only) that I want I could get it.

I might do what I did on my PSP if I run out of memory. Just simply ask for a bigger one for Christmas or my Birthday.
