But they won't have a WiFi adaptor to add 1 minor level of functionality, it would sell almost no units.

802.11B is good enough for 90% of people, 802.11G and A fill the other ~8% and then those 2% who have the government's top-secret 100MBPS T1/T3 lines that have been secretly installed can have 802.11N, but not on the PS3 :smileytongue:

considering the fastest consumer-grade broadband is around 6 mbps, 54 mbps wireless G is more than enough.

Move to China and sign up with Hong Kong Broadband Network

Speed/Monthly Fee
1GBps = $215 US
100MBps = $34 US
10MBps = $16 US

Well ps3 is a year away so I'm sure Sony will include all new technonlogies that come in between launch yeah they will because many Sony products will use it.,
