Remember yes, it was pretty awesome at the time. Now CoD has all kinds of baby poo like flying toys for the kiddies. The old Infinity Ward made a great game.

loved it. But the series got old quick for obvious reasons. Haven't played another online game that was nearly as addictive lol.

Call of Duty 4 was the best multiplayer game I've played so far. It was just simple and the maps were pretty sweet! I really got a kick out of that game because it was the only CoD I could go beast with. Going 40 kills and always less than 5 deaths every match was an awesome feeling, plus 1st place every match? I was unbeatable, ever more-so now since all the beast players left for the newest CoD after 4.

Yeah, they really did.

I'm glad most of the old crew created Respawn and developed "TitanFall." I honestly think it will be a CoD killer on the Xbox One.

It feels fresh and new, like CoD4 felt when it first came out.

That is something Activision / Treyarch / and new Infinity Ward needs to do with the CoD franchise.

I remember the original Call of Duty. It was actually quite fun back then as well as Medal of Honor. Now they just seem like washed up games in their newer iterations.

I do to. But, the point of CoD4 being so memorable to most, is because it was the first CoD game to break out of that WWII model.

It brought the franchise to "Modern Warfare." It needed that.

The WWII games were beginning to get stale, just like the post-CoD4 titles are now.

The franchise needs that next "big step" in its evolution. What (or if) it will be? Who knows.
