Re: Contacting PlayStation Network

May 16, 2013

many factors in lag. the main is ps3 uses wireless g. not N  like 360 or vita. alot of psn players use wifi and never think its them. its them. those with wired connections enjoy a much smoother experience online. wifi n is superior thats why it appears better on 360. so its not psn. its the users. not the network.

why ps3 never released an N adapter is beyond me. ps4 will be wifi N thank god. but nothing beats a hardwired ethernet connection. nothing.

Wow, thanks very much! I don't know why I didn't try a wired connection before

yeah man do a speedtest online and its a huge difference. wifi g on ps3 literally cuts your speed by 40 percent. wifi G doesnt have the bandwidth to support hd streaming or high speed gaming its awful. wifi N Is 15 times faster than G. but if you want the best stay wired. on the back of every router box in stores wifi g is never recommended for hd streaming or gaming. only wifi N is. hope this helps. stay wired my friends
