Great ad but I assume he doesnt age and why does he still live there? That is probably why we don't see his girlfriend at the end of the video.

She stuck with him through at least PS3. Not sure if that was her on the bed for the PS4

Consoles on the carpet are a real big no no. Especially the original playstation because the vents were on the bottom.

I remember making a base for mine to get it up off from the surace I had it sitting on. I had it a good few inch's up in the air. Hell even way back then I knew about air flow and over heating, guess M$ never got the memo.

Some things I'd like to point out. The triangle, square, ex, circle buttons appears throughout the video secretly

Aspect ratio changes after ps2 I think

The slim models of the consoles appear when the camera pans away then pans back again.

And a few other secrets don't remember them now

Same. Tear comes to my eye due to happiness, really wish I didn't lose my way a bit during this gen (went 360 from start to this year). Lost my waybut now I'm on the straight and narrow with my sights focused on the PS4 like the rest of ya who are also going to buy it :smileywink:!

Would like to point out that at first in the PS2 scene I thought I saw the Move controller but the original PSeye was on top of the TV.  Looked closely and it's the Singstar mic, lol. Every iteration of the camera after the PS2 was there also btw...

Great ad indeed. Ah, if only I couldve been part of those memories. For most of my life I've been riding with Nintendo and just recently I've jumped ship to Sony. Definitely not regretting that one bit though; cant wait for some even more great memories with the Playstation Nation! Bring on the PS4! ^_^

Saddly I don't relate with this ad a whole lot. A portion, yes. Instead of the PlayStation and PlayStation 2, it was the Nintendo 64 and the Nintendo Gamecube. :smileyhappy:

I was 5 years old in 1995 and I was a happy gamer. Since a lil kid I spent playing video games... time well spent! :smileyvery-happy:

I really wish Sony would make a new Fatal Frame game for Playstaiton 4 because it originated from Playstation 2..
