@HWGuy14

One would assume they are the exact same headphones minus the gimmicky vibrators. Looking at the design, nothing really looks any different aside from a cosmetic makeover.

Hard to say with out trying both, but from what ive read on both products, the Pulse elite still have more features.

Sound wise, both have VSS and probably sound identicle. I think the Gold's look more comfortable and they fold up, but they lack in Audio features. For instance, the "pulse" which some people dont care for anyway. The killer to me is that I do not see the built in mixamp on the Gold's (ability to control the mix between chat and game sound). Also, I like the analog sliders of the pulse elite more than the digital buttons on the Gold.

Overall, its your personal decision I suppose. For me, the Elites win. But if you really are considering dropping money on buy almost the same headset, you should check out the Steel Series Wireless H headset. it works with PS4 wirelessly (including chat) today. Pretty awesome headset.

Gold mic question

[ Edited ]
Feb 12, 2014

Hey fellow gamers! I apologize if this is a stupid question but I'm really not sure.. So I plan to purchase the new Gold wireless stereo headset just announced, I was wondering if I have it plugged in with the jack to say my iPod for music, will it still drain and require a wireless charge??
