You can always try a locally owned game store, in my area there are a few and they sell/buy/trade all kinds of goodies. From Atari 2600 to PS2 to Arcade and Pinball Machines to now. Kijiji and craigslist are good as well, people will sometimes sell a lot with a system. Like N64 system and 10 games for 50-60 bucks and so on. Some people on Kijiji will ship the item, not sure about people on craigslist.  The good thing about Kijiji and craigslist is that you can meet the person and check out the game or games first hand, see if they are in the condition that you want.  Also flea markets and garage sales are also very popular in finding older generation games for cheap.

Hadn't heard of Kijiji so I will check that out. Craigslist is good to an extent but finding certain games are a little harder. Locally owned stores or flea markets / garage sales are also generally a bust. It's always nine million copies of like Madden 94.

Pawnshops have always been the best place to me. Gotten most of my PS1 games from there, including some rare gems like Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. Another place you could try is GoodWill, they usually have a pretty random selection of games since it's donated, but you can occasionally find something really good, at a great price.

Where I live there is Game X Change and Vintage stock which are great places to find loads of classic console games. It all depends on where you live though if there is any near you. I heard Play N Trade is a larger chain that has alot too but I dunno if there is one in my area. It depends on where you live.

Re: Good Places To Find PS1 Games?

I've heard Play N Trade is good (if you're talking about the stores in the Tampa area), but like another poster stated above, Goodwill and pawn shops. I always find some decent games though there more then what I'd like to pay, it only pans out to around $4 a game.
My Playstation Collection consists of:
152 PS3 games - 564 PS2 games - 72 PS1 games - 202 PSP games - 11 PS Vita games

Over 1,100 games total :smileyhappy:
