I think this conversation has run it's course!

To the OP, report the therft/assault to the police, as for your PS VITA, sorry to say it is unlikely you'll ever see it again sorry.

It might be worth checking to see if your parents home contents insurance covers the loss, some do cover cellphone loss & damage, not sure about your VITA though, but it's worth asking.

Good luck to you.

Yeah a conversation that you had no part in. What right to you have to come in here and say I think this has run it's course. Are you Nazi Brit-Ko. Sorry but you act like you run the forums? Telling the kid that he will never see his PSVita isn't going to make him feel better. I tried to make light of the situation by having some humor. Hey Brit-No sense of humor doesn't know what that is-too busy being serious about forums rules and regulations!

I know I would be Pizzed off myself if my PSVita. Yet I do believe in Karma. What goes around, comes around! It may not be today but it would be soon and they will reap the benefits of what they did to you. Look at this way. The person might end up in jail because they ended getting caught for stealing something more than a PSVita. So when they are behind bars and you are finally able to play your PSVita. Just start laughing!

You should definitely file a Police Report about it.  Most likely, you will not get the Vita back, but as BRIT has pointed out, if your parent's Home Owner's Insurance covers Personal Property Loss, you may be able to file a claim and get money for a new one.

As an aside, if your parents have a certain level of Car Insurance, sometimes property stolen can be claimed on that as well.  Both are worth looking into.

I would definitely let Sony know it has been stolen, so you can safeguard your information.

Go to the Police, first and foremost.  Sorry for your loss.  I wish you luck.

Karma? I don't believe karma but I do believe in facts and I hope they get arrested and drop the soap in the jails shower if you know what I mean.
