Re: Headsets for PS4

@Murderstyle75

Thanks for the info, If i do upgrade in the future i'll be sure to check it out, But for what gaming i do i really don't want to invest more $$ than i need to for a headset, I know others have better options,sound e.t.c but i'm ok with what i have. This is my first set of TB sets & i've always heard bad things about them sure hope i'm proven wrong but thanks again for the info.

Hey folks,

I did a shootout of 6 sets of headsets from the TB PX22 to the Astros, as well as the new Sony Gold Wireless. Here's a video of the (maybe surprising) results.

So non turtle beach chat cables won't work for turtle beach headsets? Ordered a cheaper one on amazon and it didn't work. Anyone know?

Is there any way to make the surround sound of the G35/G930 work with PS4? I'm testing the G930s as we speak and I find them good while in surround mode but sorely lacking in stereo.

ive been looking around and just waiting a few more days. mor the money if you want wireless the sony pulse elite are supposed to be really good. im waiting for more reviews of the turtle beach px4 to make a purchase. both are priced at $150

I use the turtle beach px4. The sound is incredible only complaint is that the bluetooth isn't compatible so far, but I expect an update to fix this eventually. With the bluetooth not working there is no way to adjust chat volume, when in a party with a few other players I can't hear game sounds even when turned to max, its like people are screaming.

@goldporky

Not sure about your prices of availability but your best bet would consist of the following

Astro Mixamp Pro

Antlion Modmic or Zalman ZM-Mic1

Samson SR850's, Superlux HD 668b's, Sennheiser HD558's, Sennheiser HD598's or Sony MDR MA900's.

Some options should be lower then your budget and others might be above it. I'm just giving your best options to shop around for.

You meant everything separately

example

Astro mixamp Pro +
Sony MDR MA900's + zalman zm-mic1

i think pricey, high, than 180

logitech 930 is 175

Gs35 130

sony 2.0 is 89

asus 119
