I'll admit that the GameCube is one of the better gaming consoles of the last 10 or more years. But then again, so is the PlayStation 3. If you're having Internet trouble, there are ways of fixing that, which isn't a PlayStation 3 problem so much as it is a problem with your service. Fix the service and its setup and you should have no more issues.
I liked the GameCube and its array of games. With a good controller in tow, and an interesting system design, the GameCube certainly had things to respect about it. But furthermore, the PlayStation 3 is a powerhouse. It's more than just about gaming. It delivers a Blu-ray movie experience, a music-playing, photo-browsing, Web-surfing, Home-socializing outlet that does way more than play games - and for the games it brings it most certainly has done a lot of good. Comparatively between the two there's a range of standout favorites on both platforms, however the GameCube for me slightly edges out the PlayStation 3 in there being an overall larger amount of all-time greats that I'd lineup in front of the PlayStation 3 selections.
