-No Game Case
-No New Game Smell
I love paying for a new game in store because you get something to show for a $60 purchase.
Digital games should be cheaper to the consumer at the very least due to:
- No Print/Manufacturing costs
-No 3rd Party Distribution costs
So my point is this:
-They should sell a Digital Edition that everything a Disc game includes but instead of a disc, a voucher for a copy to download the game from the PSN
- I like being able to look down my tower of games and seeing a case there for every game I buy
- This option allows me to have both a case to own and look at to remind me I have it as well as changing a game without having to leave my seat.
Do you get what I mean?
Am I wrong?
What do you think?
~ What? The devil don't take checks, I tried to send a message to god his phone don't take texts.. ~
Thats why i oppose it. Thankfully, EA quickly ended that program within a few months. The only games that ever had that was a couple of The Sims 3 expansions and a few copies of The Sims Medievil.
All my games don't really have manuals they have little inserts. As for digital games it's weird, I have a digital copy of Batman Arkham City that came free w/ my 360, and I never play it, not because it's a bad game, but because I forget I even own the game lol, I like the packaging, but I want like the old kind, like super nintendo or n64 XD I like lots of junk crammed into a little box.
Digital is crap. What happens when that game is pulled from the store for various reasons? Its just not obtainable anymore?
That's what I'm thinking as well. It would kind of be a rip off if they took off the game and you lost it due to that. I really like being able to get a hold of a physical copy of a game. Especially if it's one of those 3rd party games (the good ones that is) that aren't so common. Then, if they pull it, I'll still have the physical copy.
