Im looking to buy a new TV, around $2500-$3000 and around 65"-70"... I can either get a really high end 1080p or a 4k tv.. Worth it to get 4k tv? Guy at bestbuy said they compared gaming few days ago in the same size 1080p and 4k, and that the game looked wayyyyy better in the 4k (with the upscaling) is this true? Worth it to get a 4k?
The only person that can answer this question is you. Read reviews, go look at different models, then make up your own mind. The only advice I would give would be look at Samsung. They make one of, if not, the best looking t.v.s out. Of course that is my opinion.
Pong, Atari 2600, NES, Super NES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis with Cd, Atari Jaguar with Cd, PS, PS2, Xbox 360, and now...PS4.
I know ps4 wont support 4k provaly ever, maybe ps5... But all im looking for is an opinion or a review from someone that has a 4k tv, and a ps4... Normally i dont like scaling since it looks distored, but im not sure is the same way with 4k resolutions since the extra many pixels...
or someone that has compared the image from a 1080p and a 4k for gaming.

Of course, they want you to buy the most expensive one
As BB mentioned, PS4 doesn't do 4K, just 1080p. Personally I don't really what supports 4K at the moment, perhaps sports channels?
But yeah you might as well just go for a nice 1080p TV and save that extra grand for B-friday+christmas. that's just me
But I'll Always be D. Grayson

ya BB guy will say what ever to try to sell me a more expensive item, and thats why im asking here.. what im worry is actually not looking better but not looking worths ...
Like if you compare the best 1080p out there and match it with a same size 4k tv... Which one looks better? I just dont know if the upscaling will cause a lag effect in games
