Is there a way to get a refund for a dlc that doesn't work?

6 replies 90 views Edited Apr 30, 2013

I bought some costumes for warrior orochi 3 on the NA PSN but I didn't think before my purchase... I am playing on the PAL version of the game because I like having my game discs so I have 10$ of dlc I cannot use whatsoever.

You're going to have to call customer service and talk to them.

Not for nothing, but we see this all the time. How does it keep happening?

I think part of it is that people are buying games online, and they're getting out region games, and they think "COOL! Bargain!". But when it arrives, it's region 3 or something.

oh, ya, I didnt think of that since I rarely buy games from online retailers.

Interestingly though, I have PC games with the PEGI rating and they work, but I suppose PCs arent restriced the same way consoles are

call 1-800-345-SONY make sure you go under account management and look in your transaction management and get the transaction number. Without the transaction number they can't do anything.

I knew it was PAL version since Warrior orochi 3 is a psn only game in north america and I collect games so I wanted the disc but when I bought the DLC I didn't think it wouldn't work with the game. Silly me.
