Correct if I'm wrong, but don't most demos and gameplay presentations usually run on PC's and dev kits simply because the consoles aren't ready yet?

I've read that Sony had their act together to the point where their demos ran on actual PS4 hardware.  They paid for it, though, as Assassin's Creed froze on them.

PS4 ran on real hardware. That much is true.

Xbox One running on PC stuff at E3? Not a surprise. Probably means the main console is terrible and they know it.

Just did some research and found some new info. The problem isn't using a PC to run the demos, it's that fact that they were using Nvidia when the Xbone uses AMD.  PS4's may have been used this time, Sony and Microsoft will often use PC's for demo purposes when a console isn't ready. I'm not trying to defend Microsoft, but using a PC isn't out of the ordinary

It is the fact that they

*ran using NVIDIA instead of AMD

*ran on a PC that is well above the specs of the XB1

*Were running using Windows 7, and not Windows 8

A 700 series NVidia card on top of that, most likely a 780.  God help them if it's a Titan (the 780 and 770 have the same cooling as the Titan).  AMD doesn't even have a card that can compete with the 780 right now, because the 780 is a gen ahead of the best single-GPU AMD card.  Microsoft, y u no use W8?  Not optimized to run your fraud?

EDIT:  It's a GTX 680.  If not that then a 670.

The Radeon 7990 specs out slightly higher than the Titan.  The 7990 runs on a 950MHz clock (with a 1.0GHz boost), while the Titan runs a 876MHz (928MHz boost).  Of course the 7990 carries an MSRP of $300 more than the Titan ($1,300).
