What is Life with PlayStation: Folding@Home?
Basically, Folding@Home is an application that models the process of folding proteins, which is useful in research in the fight against cancer and other such diseases. In an effort to help out in any way we can, we've created this team for all PlayStation fans to join in and support the cause. Life with PlayStation is the application on your PS3 which Folding@Home has been renamed to. Join the Team today!

How do I join on a PS3?
While in Life with PlayStation, press Triangle > Identity > Join Existing Team > 55265
How do I join on a PC/Mac?

- Download and install the folding client from http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download
- ,
- In the Control Panel, click the User tab and enter 55265 in the Team Number field.

How do I show off my stats?
If you'd like to sport a cool Folding Stats signature, follow these steps:

- Save and host these 4 images on your own hosting: 1, 2, 3, and 4.

- Paste the following code in your Signature area in your profile page:

Plus, this world map thing is really awesome! They should make it so you can zoom in even further, cycle through the dots, and get PSN ID's of people as you cycle of their dots... (IE get to know some people in your area)
Also, I lol'd at the 2 people in southern africa. Not that they were folding, but that there were these two little dots in this huge dark spot on the map. US and EU are seeming to the most active. East coast has more people right now, since they are all going to sleep. I'm guessing most people fold as they sleep.
