Memory Card File Concerns

2 replies 85 views Edited Apr 2, 2013

I have the 4GB memory card that came with my PS Vita Call of Duty bundle when I purchased it. I am planning on buying the 8GB card because 4GB is just tooooooo small to satisfy my gaming needs. However, I have a question. I have purchased and downloaded files from the PSN such as God of War Ghost of Sparta. If I buy a new memory card will I lose my files for games like Gravity Rush and God of War? Or can I download them again from the PSN on my new memory card without having to purchase them all over again?

Of course, purchases are tied to your account, not the card.

But to keep your save files, you'll need to backup your memory card to a PC or PS3, then copy them back onto the 8GB card.
