Monitor for PS3 and PS4

4 replies 114 views Edited May 22, 2013
OK so basically I need a monitor for my ps3 and soon to have ps4 I have two that I'm currently looking at but don't know anything about monitors especially for gaming so which one is better and does anyone have any other suggestions

http://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX2770SMH-LED-27-Inch-Monitor-Frameless/dp/B008RM23ZI/ref=dp_ob_titl...

http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VS239H-P-23-Inch-Full-HD-Monitor/dp/B008DWITHI/ref=dp_ob_title_ce

I'm kinda leaning towards the Asus because of the wall mount would be great but I can easily live without it

this monitor has almost no input lag, so playing your games should be no issue. you'll need to get a seperate audio thing, such as a small soundbar or jury rig something together. highly rated on amazon as a monitor

and this one doubles as a tv, has built in speakers, and generally great reviews

Bigger is usually better but not for some games.  For FPS's, I do way better on a 23-27" up close than on a 55"+.  Less eye movement and better reactions using your peripheral vision.  Those 70" HDTV's are great for movies and sports though.
