Hey everyone, so i'm currently using a Samsung 32 inch 720p as my gaming TV and have been wanting to upgrade to a 1080p TV for awhile now. I'm trying to decide between these 2 and was wondering what others thought or if they had any other options they would recommend. I like the Samsung because it is a 3D tv as well and I don't care that it's not a Smart TV as I wouldn't use those features anyway.
Sony 48 inch Bravia
Samsung 46 inch 3D

If you can go into a bestbuy and ask them to set up a display ps4 to the tv and play a game/dvd on it if you could do it I would do that. If you can mess with the video options in the store while you play the game to test it it out and videos from the PS4 played on each TV.
3D doesn't make much of a difference really. I have the Sony KDL46HX750 46" 3D TV + 6 3D PS3 games. 3D gaming was nice but only played those games once. I don't use my 3D TV for movies. The Rest of the time is 2D gaming and Netflix. I've had my TV for one year. Its quality is solid, no flaws.
Your KDL48W600B has X-Reality PRO. It's the best feature of the TV , that and Motion Flow XR 240Hz
This late into the 1080 TV era, the tv should be LED, 240Hz, 4 HDMI minimum. Sony tvs includes all the picture and video Processors engines.
