I fully support this thread, and idea. This is a part of the gamer market that needs some attention. Takedown: Red Sabre which is in development and the kickstarter for H-Hour: Worlds Elite are our only hope right now for any sort of hardcore tactical shooter. This is a also a community who needs more than the the cinematic shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield, with their regenerating health, reviving, and respawning. This video from Socom 2 shows some of the features that we want, and without all the explosions and stuff involved in todays shooters.
This is our chance to show that a Socom-like game can gain wide spread support.
Although I am not very excited about it being on PC, I figure that with enough support we can expect to see this game along with other Socom-like games on the PS4.
I'm all for this game. After SONY and Zipper completely screwed up the feel of SOCOM's Single Player campaign with SOCOM 4's debacle, I could really really go for a game with a tactical campaign that isn't just run and gun and makes you follow a set path.
Socom I & II are the only true Socom's. I have been a huge advocate for a true Socom II sequel since the Socom 3 beta test. I can literally cout on one hand the number of times Socom I/II left my PS2 for another game during their life cycles.
My story exactly! SOCRACKer to the core.
This (H-Hour) is our best chance, we'll ever get to have SOCOM II HD (Plus) lol... come on people donate, its basically a pre-order for the game. No reason you can't put down 65$ for a game. At least 20$ to "pre-order" your copy of H-hour the SOCOM remake!!!!
