No Refund Policy SUCKS

So, I buy GTASmiley FrustratedA today for $15.

Loved GTA back in the day. Only to find out, the sound is not compatible with my wireless headsets. This is the only way I can play with sound is through headsets due to my TV set-up. (TV internal speakers no longer work, I use analog surround to get cable TV sound)

I called Sony, explained to them my problem and requested a refund. They literally said "No, you'll just have to deal with it." Smiley Indifferent

So I bought a game that lacks the ability to produce sound. Smiley Sad

EDIT: This thread is now a comedy roll, go to McButtz first post for a good laugh! Smiley Very Happy

Although I have some sympathy for you GuNz you did not buy a game that "lacks the ability to produce sound", you bought a game that works perfectly fine if your TV works perfectly fine, yours does not.

I think you need a new TV if you have to listen to it via headsets. And I don't blame them for not having that ability, because the amount of people that actually do that is miniscule

Sony Wireless Gaming Headset.

GG Random.

As for my situation, I understand, although there should be some way they can allow customers to return games. Whats the incentive to download a game, knowing I can never return it, versus buying it from Wal Mart and knowing I can return it if I don't like it.

just get a amplifier or a cheap used stereo system or something with audio in jacks and then you will have sound...very simple solution..who in the world wants to use headphones everytime you play a game...that would drive me crazy..

I guarantee you, Walmart would not accept a game for return if it was open. Precious few places will.

I'm curious about your surround system and why you can't connect the PS3 to it.  Maybe you could get some help with that here.
