@Grindhead Jim-I still have my 360 and about 30 some games to trade in. I have to do some research and see who will give me the most for everything...

Go to Gamestop and get a PowerUp rewards card (renewal or a new one) - you qualify for a coupon that gives you an additional 50% tradein credit for one transaction. It arrives electronically in 24-48 hours.

I got close to $400 for my 360, two controllers, and 20 older-than-dirt games.

Honestly, that's the way to go.  I could have paid off my PS4.  I instead got a PS3, put money down on the PS4, and a slew of games.

Do you have to subscribe for the power up rewards?

Thing is I pre-ordered from best buy, early, so I'm a little leary of removing my pre order to pre order at gamestop. The money you got back, was that actual cash or was it in store credit? I guess worse comes to worse I could leave my pre order, cancel BF4 from it, and pre order BF4 at gamestop along with a few other games if its in store credit...

The only thing that sucks is I have about 5-10 more digital full game downloads I got off of GoD off of Live that I will not get anything on Smiley Frustrated

Yes, it costs $15, but, I got an additional $150+ in trade in credit, plus they can't tax you on transactions with in-store credit, so, that's another $15 saved right there - it paid for itself.

Yes, the coupon and numbers I am quoting only apply to in-store credit.

Hmmmm, I might actually consider this. Thanks!

I assume they sell PSN+ codes/cards there also right? I think they sold Xbox live sub cards the last time I looked. If this is the case, I may outright pay for the console at best buy, then get BF4, PSN+, Destiny, and maybe something else, with the trade in I get assuming I get as much or more than what you got. How long is this lasting in regards to the extra trade in credit?

I believe the promotion is another week or so, so, you have to at least get the card.  The coupon is goof for 30 or 60 days once you get it.
