If my current Vita croaks, I probably will not buy another...  Not until they fix the WIFI.  I bought mine to play while at work and when I travel, and I can never get it to connect to a hotel's wifi, every thing else connected fine, the Vita, just sat there, wouldn't do a thing, at home it works fine.

Ah.

Maybe they had a wep password or wpa password set up on it. My old DS couldn't connect on that kind of wifi (the wep one, that is). If it had a password or a login screen, I was out of luck. Even if it was the right kind of wifi.

No password needed.  All you do is open up a browser window, it takes you to the hotel's terms and agreement page, click the box and hit submit and your suppose to be on wifi.  The vita won't even load the web-page for that Smiley Happy

Ah. That stinks. So it's just a poor connection then?

Can we call it the Ps Vita Slim? I don't like calling it the 2000 a) because it reminds me of pep (which I never had) and b) 2000 isn't new anymore. 2000 is 14 years old

How long did you have it, system wise?

I had mine since day one.

I was pretty rough with it too.

Dropped it on several occasions.

I suppose.

But the "2000" isn't really referencing a year though. I mean technically the PS Vita currently is the 1000 model.

It's just the model scheme.

Oh.

Used to that. The Nintendo 3ds one is similar. You can use it for a bit, then it decides to lock on itself out of nowhere O_O.

i will stick with the original vita. i was hoping to get the white one but they no longer sell it. i am tired of having everything black and the newer models losing stuff but being available in more colors. i prefer the oled to lcd
