Whenever I decide to purchase a Vita, I'm going to stick with the OLED model for better video quality when I play the handheld games.

also, this announcement could be in reference to the PSVitaTV, and the 64GB memory cards. I'd be tempted to get a PSVTV because the PS4 remote play capabilities, and I wouldn't have to keep my ps4 around the house.
I have a feeling that PSVita will be for Japan Region only.
Sony should just make all psp games(downloads) work on psvita than making psvita tv... I'm sure most people no longer owns psp games retail disc.
If I ever do get a PSV again I would definitely prefer the slim, as I haven't heard THAT bad of things about the screen quality, and the other benefits like the battery, weight, memory, and improved buttons/back area would make it feel worth it.
Wonder if they'll announce any Memory card changes. I noticed Amazon, Bestbuy, Gamestop, and Target all don't have the 32GB in stock. Makes me wonder if something different is coming up or what's the reason for it, as I've checked Gamestop and Amazon for the past several weeks and they haven't gotten them in for some time.
Well the LCD screen isn't bad, it's just not OLED.
LCD fanboys will tell you that the colors are overly saturated like the OLED and you won't get any burn-ins. However, OLED fanboys will tell you that the LCD screen has muted colors and looks like it has a thin white film over the colors.
Games like Escape Plan will most likely look best on the OLED screen since you get darker blacks and brighter whites.
I prefer the OLED screen but also prefer the slims build/style.
So I'm stuck in between.
