The 1000 looks better built but the 2000 has a longer lasting screen.

Your call lol. 2000 was made to cut costs, btw.

Too bad the 2000 doesn't have the same kind of buttons the 1000 has. If it did, I'd probably go with it.

I think the reason why the vita was not working with a hotels wifi, is mostly due to the what you need to do to connect to the hotels wifi..

Love my Vita.Just don't plan on using it anywhere you have to open up the browser for internet access. It dosent work.Sometimes

IM stuck in a hotel room. This took away 50% of the functional utility of the VITA for me.I would have thought twice about buying it.Make sure you think this over or plan on playing everything offline.

You don't need to do anything special, other then open up a browser window. lol.  If my phone can do it, and my 3DS and laptop, I don't see why the Vita can't do it...

There must be somethign I'm not understanding.

I use my Vita at Starbucks all the time, and it has a webpage acceptance page to connect ot the internet, as does McDonalds. I can use the vita at both locations.

They have greatly improved the browser's reliability when compared to how it was at launch.
Sure it's still slow...and sometimes it requires a reset- boot it's much better.
Instead of "caching" the webpage it opts to reload every time you scroll through....

Only three more days...Wonder if they'll be another price-drop.
If it's not significant or they don't offer the color variants- I might as well just import the one I want.

Would be nice if there's either a price drop (Which could be likely to better compete on the market) or if they make a nice bundle available.

Maybe something along the lines of the PS Vita Slim, 8GB Memory Card, and throw in either a digital game or a 30 day PS+ subscription for $199.

I bought my Vita about a month ago and I absolutely love it. I just hope these new models make it more popular so we can get keep getting more good games. The system is really underrated.
