Well he said put PS3 on top of PS4, not the other way around.
Because perhaps the PS4 will be flat.

Yes, perhaps, but we don't have any idea what it will be like. The "trend" is that the system is getting rounder, so that would not work if it continues.

It's confirmed that the PS4 will not be backwards compatible but neither will the new xbox

the PS4 won't be flat on top - there will be a PS Vita dock there - my theory anyway

I think that would be a really bad decision. I think it would look weird with or especially without a Vita in it. It would also be an additional cost for something a lot of people wouldn't use.
