Most popular headset brands are making a adapter for the PS4. So I was told....

I don't know about you guys but I wanna enjoy the free mono headset Sony is giving us, even though I do have a Bluetooth that will work with PS4.

If your headset uses the Optical output, it will work with the PS4.

If it uses the A/V Multiport, it will not (the PS4 dropped the A/V Multiport).

Ahem. . .

This converter will work with any stereo headset (i.e. those that use AV) and converts them to surround sound, and uses digital optical. Hence this converter basically makes any stereo headset compatible with PS4.

I'd like to know if my Turtle Beach PX-21 headset will be compatible with the PS4.

So far, the official Turtle Beach website doesn't have any info.

Yes, but you will need to buy an optical converter since the PS4 does not have Analog AV Out.

Which is why you get the DPX 21 set (with that DSS box) which uses optical :smileyvery-happy:

Thank you very much, Shadelon.

However, it's still not clear if the Turtle Beach PX-21 will be able to connect to the Dualshock 4 controller's 3.5mm headphone jack in addition to using that optical converter.
