Re: PS4 & Home?

Aug 24, 2013
Some of us gamers are still trying to cling onto it dc. Not really sure why at this point because you hit the nail on the head with the e-harmony part of your opinion (idk about the trannies part though i prefer to just not ask). Its much more of a dating site than a gamer base now, which sucks in my opinion as well.

Don't count us all out though just cause you had a few bad experiences. There are still a few of us gamers who try to enjoy home, we are just severely outnumbered. Thats not our fault, that blame lands on the gamers who gave up on it and stopped supporting the actual game developers and allowed these third party clothing and other unrelated to gaming content developers to takeover.

I was one of the original bet testers for home. It has come a looooooooooong way. I used to visit often but now I just got on now nd then to see whats new and to attend events like Gamescom. When I had Xbox Live we had a live game show called 1 VS 100. It was really popular and people could win points to use in the store. With all of the games shows Sony owns it would be nice to see them bring some of those shows to Home and maybe once or twice per week have some of them live. Or they could find some way to make them interactve with the actual TV shows some how. I think this would attract a totally new audience to home and be a lot of fun.

I really missed the open mic feature from the begining of Home. My favorite feature that was taken out too early Smiley Sad

I am going to keep my fingers crossed that home will be on the ps4 eventually. Sony would be making a really bad business decision by not putting home on the ps4. Home draws in a lot of money for Sony. Do you know how many people can't wait for Wensday to buy the new content that comes out on home? I know I am one of the big buyers of update Wensdays on home.

I find Home annoying because it used to be a place where you could find people with common interest in the same video games/genres.  Now its just some weird E-Harmony hub for trannys and wanna-be gangsters.  And it freezes and downloads really slow no matter how good your internet is.

I kind of think it will be rebooted on the PS4.  Not at launch but later down the line.  Because Home on the PS3 came out 2 years after the launch of the PS3.

Well of course home got that way. That happens in any social media type of setting, facebook, twitter etc. It's a shame, but I know how you feel. I myself have made good connections with people from day one on home. I mostly hang around the casino and play casino games. Usually an older crowd is there. If mean or unfriendly people are there bothering you, the ignore button is one of the best things Sony came out with this year for home. If people are bullying or harassing you, you hit the new ignore button, then the avatar turns completely around and they can't touch you, type to you, pm you etc. It's a nice improvement, so much better from before.

I want it to end the community on there is horrible and would really give sony a bad wrap from the new people who never owned PS3 who decide to try it out. I have seen noobies ask for help on home and they end up getting insulted disrespected and clowned just for asking for directions. People spend money on the clothes on home then act like they are better then the people who don't. It has a bunch of grown adults playing house and acing out trying to be sombody who they could never be in real lfe. I really hope they leave it on PS3, let the weirdos stay on there and enjoy there fake glorified world. Sony will make plenty of money with the PS4.

I think the whole idea was that PS4 now has a Social Gamming Service...
Unlike how the PS3 was not...

They have a Face Book/Twitter oriented PSN on PS4, so they have no need for PS HOME...
So I think it got replaced by that...

I could be wrong, I dunno...

What I mean by this is that there is a Live Chat Feed on the PS4, that wasn't there with the PS3...
This Chat Feed will replace HOME... No?

I just think there won't be HOME on the PS4 because of this...
