You would have me at backwards compatibility.
It would show that Sony cares just a little bit about their customers and would do something to keep current all of what we have invested already.
Here is my solution to having backwards compatibility with PS4. It's not hard to do, just follow the steps -
Backwards compatibility disc based wise has been discussed many times for the minority of you that care for it, the hardware isn't compatible and adding hardware to make it so would have cost too much to appease so few. So Sony will be rolling out Gaikai in 2014 to stream PS3 games for a fee. Backwards compatibility solved.
It's not that Sony doesn't want to add it in or because it costs too much, the PS4 is not backwards compatible because the supporting hardware would be hard to support in the long run. Had they just required the Cell processor it would have been possible. The supporting hardware is the problem. This is according to Sony. Not my words:
