I added my $20 psn card to my wallet for my master account but when i try to purchase something from my sub account (megeman protoman avatar) it says i only have $4.63 in my wallet. I kind of dont understand which one is my master account but my sub account is the first one. and I have 3 other master accounts under mine. and one of them has the 20$ on it and the rest of it has 0. but when i try to purchase from my sub account it says i only have $4.

You probably have limited spend amount. Go to Sub Account Management under  PlayStation®Network >  Account Management.

I will try that thanks. I just loaded one of my master accounts with a 20$ psn card so yeah..
