PlayStation 3D glasses

6 replies 106 views Edited May 12, 2013
Hi. Wasn't really sure where to post this. So this past fall I bought a PlayStation branded 3D monitor & an extra pair of 3D glasses. The 3D works great but I unfortunately can't play games in 3D for very long. Not for the usual reasons but rather because the glasses seriously dig into the sides of my head. I would love to use 3D on a regular basis, but that just currently isn't possible. So what are some large 3D glasses that are compatible with the PlayStation 3D monitor?

I believe any 3D Glasses that use active shutters will work on the PlayStation 3D Display, but you'll need the glasses made for it if you want to use SimulView.

Yeah, but it doesn't seem like many really advertise themselves as being made for large heads, so I was kind of hoping someone on here could recommend a particular pair.

ok   I have  some samsung 3 d glasses that came with my  tv, But  i think they have  that  a pair wrap  around your  head...  "SSg 4100gb" i think.. might be around 25 $ maybe and  the rechargeable ones for 50$  you can get them at best buys if have that in  your  area..

Im  looking here in my  guide ad book that came wth my  tv and the look like they wrap  around  the top of  the head  and  glasses part is attached.  they dont go behind the  ear..  Look it up if  you can youll see. SSG 4100gb  or the SSg 3570CR

Happy gaming in your future

You have to be careful for 3D glasses of different companies as they are not always compatible.
