Any news if the PS4 will support SATA Gen 3. I see that the PS4 is going to have USB 3.0, so i figure that it should.

HA, HA, YOU GUYS!!! :smileylol:

Here I've been thinking about throwing a bunch of money at titles at launch and preordering games that aren't due until next year (The Division, Destiny, TES Online) so I don't have to worry about having money when they come out.

Since I have money now, I want to just pay now while I have the money and have it delivered to my door later. That and controllers and maybe a PS4 Eye, but it never accured to me to grab an upgrade for the HDD this early. lol.

I will be replacing that hard drive on day one with the biggest hard drive I can find. I hope a solid state drive will work!

Solid State drives will be compatible with the PS4.

The Biggest SSD I can find is HERE But this one is only SATA Gen 2.

The Biggest SSD with SATA Gen 3 i can find is HERE

The question here is, Are you willing to drop that kind of money for a storage drive. As of now we do not know the max R/W speeds the PS4 can handle while being stable.

May seem funny now but if history repeats itself... I'm going to regret keeping the 500gb and not swapping it for a high hard drive. My PS3 is the 500gb super slim model and due to Playstation Plus... I'm almost already full :smileysad:. I don't want the same thing happening with my PS4. These downloads aren't getting any smaller (unless we are talking about indie titles)...
