Hi, I was wondering if  you can  buy a PSX. I was looking at Wikipedia and saw the PSX and thought it looked cool. But i came out at $800, so i thought maybe it is cheaper used now.

No, I don't think it might be cheaper now because it's quite rare since it was only released in Japan.

Get a PS3 if you don't have one, it can do everything the PSX does except the DVR thing because of U.S. content providers being greedy.

Thanks! I might but i just got a Xbox 360 so i might be getting a PS3 later. I was looking for a PSX because i read you could put PS2 games on a PSP with it.

 your actually looking for that. That system is like a myth lol..   Your going to have fly to  japan to find  that.. Good luck wth your search.. becuase your  going to need it as well alot of cash to bring back to the states or w/e you may be

You can't put PS2 games on A PSP, that's completely false. They are completely different hardware and you would need to rewrite the game for the PSP's hardware.

I'm not 100% positive but I think hackers have made that possible, but I don't browse those forums. I've seen it referenced in the old PSP forums once or twice a couple of years ago, so my memory might be rusty on that topic.

I've seen homebrew's of PSX title running on PSP but PS2, none so far. i think it's possible if the PSP can handle PS2's processing power.

If by PSX you mean the PS2/DVR/TV-Turner box then what do you mean by "PSX titles"? Unless that by "PSX titles" you are talking about PS1 titles.

There are a few found on the internet, but it's going to be like buying a PS3 at launch; fairly expensive.
