Dear Sony,
We, your valued customers, would greatly appreciate the ability to update our PSN Name/ID without losing our:
* Friends
* Purchases
* Trophies
* User BANs (so cheaters can't update their names every time they get banned.)
Having to create an entirely new account, in order to update our name, is archaic and not the least bit user friendly. Your valued customers understand that you might have to put restrictions on such actions and this is completely acceptable.
You could possibly:
* Limit the # of resets (once per month/year)
* Charge a fee for resetting it
If you support this idea, please post below. The more exposure, the more replies. The more replies, the bigger chance Sony addresses the issue! Maybe if we get enough supporters they will offer, at least, some type of customer support to make this possible.
